Everything To Celebrate Independence Day in SM City Fairview
Saturday, June 22, 2013

HI! my name is Warren Chang, and i am Malaysian, and i am gonna celebrate the Philippines independence day at SM City Fairview. I had to wake up early because the flag raising ceremony that will be held around 8:30 a.m
All of the securities and SM workers lined up and there were children wearing scout uniforms. They were all preparing for the event.
The SM City Fairview prepared a short play about the history of the Philippines. The Philippine Revolution began in August 1896. In December 1897, the Pact of Biak-na-Bato, an agreement between the Spanish colonial government and the revolutionaries, created a truce between the parties. Under terms of this agreement, Emilio Aguinaldo and other revolutionary leaders went into exile in Hong Kong. Indeed i only know little of the history and culture of the Philippines,I can say i learned a lot from the short play. The culture of the Filipinos, it is indeed wonderful.
It was indeed a great experience to celebrate Indepence Day with the filipinos. I would like to thank SM City Fairview for inviting me to the event. It was indeed a successful event.
THANK YOU- Warren Chang

The new store will be located in SM City Fairview in Quezon City. It will be Uniqlo's 2nd store in Quezon City after SM City North EDSA The Block which was opened November last year. Quezon City is dubbed as the "City of Stars."
The SM City Fairview store of Uniqlo will also bring its total to five stores, in time for the brand's first year anniversary here in the Philippines. The new store opening also further solidifies its objective of bringing more of its excellent products to more Filipinos in other areas.
The other Uniqlo stores are located at SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City, The Block, SM City North EDSA in Quezon City, SM Aura Premier at the Fort in Taguig and SM City Pampanga in San Fernando, Pampanga, its first provincial store.
SM City Fairview is the second SM supermall in Quezon City, with approximately 188,861 square meters of retail floor area, making it one of the biggest SM malls in the Philippines, it caters not only to residents within its immediate vicinity but also to key provincial areas north of Metro Manila.

Uniqlo also recently introduced its latest global brand concept " LifeWear," which describes Uniqlo apparel as Clothes for a better life for everyone, every day.
And last June 11, I was invited to join the VIP shopping of Uniqlo SM City Fairview, and I'm really lucky to be part of the VIP event because, I got the privilege to shop before the store launch. I think this is my first time to spend P3,000 just for shopping. Hahahaha! But I can call all the gods, I got 1 twill shorts, 1 straight cut pants and 3 cropped pants, I got those for only P590 each! So great!

Last Saturday, TicketWorld invited us to catch Stars of Philippine Ballet in Aliw Theater at the CCP Complex, Pasay City. Stars of Philippine Ballet showcase the best of the best in the Ballet Industry here in the Philippines. they also invited international ballet artists to perform.
I was really amazed with the spins and the graceful movements of the ballerinas. Their toes are really strong, I salute them because of their hardwork to give the best of best on that night. My favorite part of the show was the beginning, the Manila prod by the Ballet Manila scholars, their prod is really lively to energize the audience, and I know how hard life for some of them, and I salute Ballet Manila and Ms. Lisa Macuja-Elizalde for helping out others to shine and bringing their potentials to explode and bringing ballet to others who thought that Ballet are only for the rich.
Heck Yeah to Ballet Manila and I'm looking forward to catch more Ballet shows!
P.S. I got a chance to watch a ballet recital in SM City Taytay last Saturday, the baby ballerinas are so cute!

As we all know school going start soon, and say hello to
our allowance. What are important is those FRESHMEN who are entering college
now, and they are going to attend
the school orientation. Some freshmen go
alone, with their parents, or their fellow classmates that they have known
since high school. Well actually school orientation is very exciting for the
freshmen because, you can meet new friends, know the school’s policy, the
professors, and more.
I’m a student council and I’m already a 4th year
college student. This morning there will be a school orientation for the freshmen
of school of physical therapist. I and my fellow council members were up early
to prepare the school orientation program for the freshmen, so we were busy as
usual.
Here are what we expect and what the freshmen are going to
expect. We council members are expecting there are a lot of freshmen, that the
freshmen will enjoy their school orientation. Not only that we also want the
freshmen to understand what is our course and we want them to feel comfortable
with us since they are a part of the family now. What the freshmen will expect
is meeting new friends, the school activities, policy, and other sort of
important matters. Reality is we didn’t expect not that many freshmen attended
the school orientation, and we realize that since time is not on our hand we didn’t
finish the orientation as planned. Also the freshmen are not that active.
As a lesson to us, first is always run a dry practice. Well
to all freshmen out there, you should attend the school orientation and be
active. Not only you can meet new friends but you can explore more what the
college life will bring to you. Thanks J
